On mouldings, doors, cabinets and stairs, I use the spray gun — it's what sets a sprayed finish apart from a brushed one. The difference shows from a metre away as much as from ten.

Lime wash
A mineral coating made of crushed limestone and water. It dries to a matte, cloudy finish with soft colour variations that shift with the light — the aged-plaster effect, impossible to get with ordinary paint.

- Breathable — Porous and naturally mould-resistant. Ideal on masonry, old or new.
